Last updated: May 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Linqa Inc. ("Linqa," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our marketing website at linqa.app and related subdomains (the "Site").
This policy covers only the Site. The Linqa webapp at app.linqa.app is a separate product with its own Privacy Policy. If you create an account or use the webapp, that policy governs the information collected there.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Linqa Inc. is a Delaware-incorporated company building an AI matching layer for events and online communities. For any privacy question relating to the Site, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways on the Site.
Information you give us
Contact form submissions: your name, email address, subject, and message.
Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.
Any other information you choose to send us by email.
Information we collect automatically
Device and technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, language, time zone.
Usage data: pages viewed, time spent, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP.
Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from service providers
Hosting, analytics, and email tools we use to operate the Site may share aggregated or technical data with us in the ordinary course of providing their services.
We do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
3. How we use information
We use information collected through the Site to:
Respond to contact form messages and other inquiries.
Send our newsletter to subscribers, and only to subscribers.
Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
Understand aggregate visitor behaviour (which pages are read, where visitors come from, where they drop off).
Comply with law and protect rights.
We do not use Site visitor information for AI training and we do not sell it.
4. How we share information
We share information collected through the Site only as follows:
Service providers we use to run the Site, including hosting (Framer), analytics, email delivery for the newsletter, and customer support tooling. These providers act on our instructions and are contractually limited to providing their service to us.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Linqa, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If Linqa is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell information collected through the Site, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send the issues you signed up for. Every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] to unsubscribe.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
Strictly necessary purposes (basic Site function, security).
Functional purposes (preferences, language).
Analytics (understanding aggregate use of the Site).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Site.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion.
Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address you used to contact us or subscribe. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
8. Data retention
We retain contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and a limited period afterwards for record-keeping. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely in de-identified form.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information collected through the Site, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.
10. International transfers
Linqa is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through the Site. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites and services, including our webapp at app.linqa.app and our profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
13. Changes to this policy
